PasanAbeysekara/Taxi Pickup Hotspot Analysis using Hadoop MapReduce

This project implements a distributed data processing system using Hadoop MapReduce to analyze NYC Yellow Taxi trip data and identify pickup hotspots across New York City. By processing 10.9 million trip records from January 2016, we extract meaningful insights about taxi demand patterns across NYCs 265 taxi zones.
